Can a company name be ‘prejudicial’?

Many companies are named either by its owner or are descriptive of the services it provides.  My firm investigates intellectual property crimes that take place online and is called  The name describes this niche service and appears on our business card, our website, our reports, and on the tags affixed to the evidence we submit to the Courts.

Can a company name be ‘prejudicial’?  Attorney Jim Lowe of  Gauntlett & Associates is arguing so.  In a recent case this Low character filed a motion to redact all exhibit and testimonial references to my company name  Hmmm.

Is truth prejudicial?  I do not believe so.  Truth is everything.

I’m going to finish my coffee.
